Jose Mourinho has found a new ‘specialist’ in London besides Arsene Wenger

Former Porto, Inter Milan, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Manchester United manager has tasted success in all the clubs he managed winning numerous trophies and hailed as the special one.

Mourinho was sacked by Manchester United in December 2018, and has been working as a pundit. However, and his choice of words is well known to spark post discussions beyond the 90 minutes of football. During his days with Chelsea, he described former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger as a ‘specialist in failure’, this time he has found another ‘specialist’ London based manager in Mauricio Pochettino.

However, The Argentine boss has not won any trophies with the three clubs he has coached, coming closest to tasting success in the 2015 League Cup when Spurs lost to Mourinho’s Chelsea in the final.

Jose Mourinho also feels that Pochettino has earned respect for the job he did at Southampton and a special praise for the progress Tottenham have made despite not signing new players in the last two transfer windows and managing to reach the champions league final in Madrid.

Pochettino  was tipped as a potential replacement for Mourinho following his dismissal from Manchester United until the club hired Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on a three-year deal.

Mourinho is a fan of Pochettino’s work, but believes Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp has the advantage heading into the Final clash in Madrid, as the German is more experienced in finals.

“Jurgen will be in his third final; I can’t imagine the feeling it would be for him to have played three finals and not to win.”

“They have the team, the players, the structures, and are good coaches,” Mourinho said of Pochettino and Klopp in an interview with L’Equipe .

Mourinho is expected to return to management ahead of next season and has been linked with a number of French clubs, with both PSG and Lyon interested
