Wanyama vs Mane in Afcon qualifiers as Harambee stars squad to be named next week

Kenya Harambee stars captain, Victor M. Wanyama, is currently on his best form as he assisted Tottenham hotspurs pull an epic win against Ajax and reach the Uefa Champions League final in Madrid against Sadio Mane’s Liverpool Fc. The Kenyan national team will pitch camp in France in readiness for the tournament,kick off scheduled June 21 in Egypt.
Wanyama will face Liverpools Mane in group stage of Afcon before the play the Champions League finals in madrid. Harambee Stars head coach Sebastien Migne will be buoyed by his captains current form and is set to name his preliminary squad on Tuesday
There have been rumours that the team has already been named, which the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has despelled, saying everything will be done next week.Communications Officer Barry Otieno says Head coach Migne is finalizing his squad and it will be made public a few days from now. I have seen certain information regarding the squad making rounds, but I can reveal that is not the correct information.
Coach Migne will name his team on Tuesday, actually, it will be both Afcon and Chan squads, meaning it will be about 60 players,” Otieno told Goal.
Harambee Stars are set to pitch camp in paris for three weeks before they proceed to Cairo on June 19.
While in France, the team has lined up two friendly matches against Madagascar and Gambia on June 7 and 15 respectively.
Kenya have been drawn in a very tight Group C with Favourites Senegal ,Algeria and neighbours Tanzania at the Africa Cup of Nations, that kicks off on June 21.
